Course Description:
This course is designed to give the student an overview of the ETF40B Marine Gas Turbine Engine FADEC and the systems it supports. Interface with the CAMS system is discussed relative to failure annunciation and analysis. Detailed failure analysis of components monitored by FADEC is discussed. Practical use of the ADAM software and FADEC simulator for troubleshooting is performed. Proper use of the available publications for corrective procedures is stressed.
Due to the amount of material covered and practical activities, normal class size is limited to 10 students.
