Thomas
E. Bray
President & CEO
Prior to being named president of Vericor in June
1999, Bray was Director, Industrial Power for Honeywell
Engines & Systems. Since joining Honeywell in
1996, Bray was responsible for the development,
distribution and sale of the company's industrial
aero-derivative gas turbines worldwide. Prior to
that, he was Regional Vice President and National
Sales Manager for Siemens Power Corporation. He
also spent 20 years with General Electric in various
management positions, including Manager of Marketing,
District Service Manager and Manager of Financial
Analysis. Bray earned a bachelor's degree in marketing
from the University of Missouri.
Juergen
Kuhn
CFO
Before joining Vericor in 2005, Juergen Kuhn worked
for MTU Aero Engines (Vericor’s parent company)
as the CFO and Senior Financial Manager of Finance
and Business Development at Europrop International
SL in Madrid, Spain. Prior to becoming CFO of EPI,
Kuhn worked in MTU’s finance department and coordinated
the financial reporting of MTU’s subsidiaries, including
operative/strategic planning and reporting as well
as investments and projects analysis, and in MTU’s
business development organization evaluating M&A
candidates. He is a graduate in business management
from International University in Germany.
Richard
S. Clinton
Director, Operations & Aftermarket Support
Prior to accepting his current position in August
1999, Clinton was Project Manager for Honeywell's
industrial and marine product portfolios, responsible
for the development of these aero-derivative gas
turbine products, including preparing them for production.
He joined Honeywell in 1995 after 12 years at Textron
Lycoming where he held various engineering positions
including mechanical design, test and project engineering.
Clinton has a bachelor's degree from Boston University
in manufacturing engineering and a master's degree
from Fairfield University in financial management.
Dr.
Michael W. Luz
Director, Product Management & Sourcing
Before joining Vericor, Luz was Director of Market
and Business Development for Honeywell Engines &
Systems, responsible for developing new business
through joint ventures, risk sharing partnerships,
and the pursuit of global growth opportunities including
penetration of emerging markets. Luz joined Honeywell
Engines in 1990 as Senior Engineer and was promoted
to Technology Team Leader in 1994. He earned a Bachelor
of Science and a doctorate in aerospace engineering
from University of Stuttgart, and also holds an
MBA from Arizona State University.
Joseph
L. Simonetti
Chief Engineer
As Chief Engineer, Simonetti is responsible for
all engineering aspects of Vericor products. Prior
to accepting his current position in 2006, Simonetti
had engineering responsibility for gas turbine system-related
projects within Vericor. Simonetti joined Vericor
from Honeywell where he held various engineering
assignments including Senior Engineering Specialist
on the RE220 APU project, and Principal Engineer
of the AS900 fan module. He joined Honeywell in
1995 from Lycoming where he spent 20 years in various
aircraft and marine and industrial engineering capacities
for both turboshaft and turbofan models, including
Vericor’s predecessor products. Simonetti has extensive
knowledge of all aspects of engine design and testing
including flight test. Simonetti graduated from
Rutgers College of Engineering (with honors) with
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He also holds a psychology degree from Rutgers.
He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers,
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and
ASM International. In addition, Simonetti holds
two United States patents.
