The following stories on four
separate projects illustrate the versatility,
flexibility and value customers are offered
with a Vericor Power Systems gas turbine-based
power plant.

SierraPine SierraPine Limited is the third largest
manufacturer of particleboard, medium
density fiberboard and MDF moulding in
North America.
In August 2001, two VPS™3 gas turbine-generator
sets sold and supplied by Vericor Power
Systems began operating at a new 6-megawatt
cogeneration facility in Medford, Oregon.
The plant was developed under a fast-track
schedule to provide electricity and direct
exhaust for drying wood fiber at SierraPine
Limited's processing plant. The cogeneration
facility operates in base load mode, and
as of mid 2002, both units logged some 4,000
hours each in service.

Visby Class
Corvette World's First Truly Stealth Vessel Powered
By TF50A Gas Turbines
The world's first truly stealth vessel was
recently launched powered by four TF™50A
marine aeroderivative gas turbines in a
Combined Diesel Or Gas (CODOG) turbine configuration.
The Visby-class corvette, also known as
the YS 2000 series, was designed and built
by Kockums AB at the Karlskrona Shipyard
iN Sweden.

Printing Nevada, Inc. Printing Company Benefits from Efficient
ASE40-Based Cogeneration Scheme
A cost-effective alternative to standard
utility-supplied power is what the world's
largest printer will soon experience. Beginning
in August 2000, all of the electricity and
steam generated by a new $5 million cogeneration
plant will be used by Quebecor World Nevada,
Inc. under a power purchase agreement.

Oberoi Hotel
- Agra, India First Hotel CHP Application in India Uses
ASE™8 Gas Turbine-Generator Sets
A savings of 35% to 40% compared to grid-supplied
electricity is what the owners of the Oberoi
Hotel in Agra, India will realize with a
new combined heat and power (CHP) plant.
Based on two ASE8 gas turbines, this will
be the first CHP installation for a hotel
application in India.
