Technical Training

Vericor offers operator and maintenance training to all of our marine and industrial customers at our training center at our Harvey, LA facility.

We offer a series of technical training programs that are designed to provide operators and maintenance personnel with the technical knowledge necessary to effectively and quickly troubleshoot and correct any operational difficulty that may be encountered from time to time. The training incorporates a wide variety of learning tools such as interactive simulations, animations and step by step illustrated instruction manuals.

In addition, we offer customized training programs that address specific customer needs. As part of the customized training, our team visits your site to work directly with the staff to review any unique requirements and conduct detailed task analyses, before designing a tailored training program.

Standard Course Descriptions

Industrial / Oil & Gas
Familiarization, Level I and Level II maintenance courses are offered for the ASE gas turbine and VPS power generation or mechanical drive packages. This training may be extended to include full operation in the case of a turnkey solution provided by Vericor.

Marine Propulsion & Power Systems
Familiarization, Level I and Level II maintenance courses are offered for the TF gas turbine and VPSM power generation packages. Level 04 and 06 is provide for military applications of the TF40B and ETF40B.
