Scope of Marketing Communications Manager

The Marketing Communication Manager (Marcomm) creates, implements, and oversees communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including graphics, brochures, company or product fact sheets, logos, or other promotional products. Manages the research and development of content for publication of products. Being a Marketing Communication Manager creates informative and timely content. Manages information dissemination. Additionally, Marketing Communication Manager oversees the preparation of trade shows, presentations and/or speeches. May require a bachelor’s degree in marketing or public relations.
Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.

    The person in this position is responsible for the Marketing Communication to ensure proper marketing and branding support to the whole marketing group.

    This person understands Company needs and proactively proposed those changes that are important to better communicate the Vericor value to Customers and Community, being responsible of those media and processes such as website, social media (LinkedIn), brochures, presentations, sales tools, trade show and other social events organization.

    • Define new branding guidelines for Vericor
    • Ensure and enforce proper branding applied across the Company as per the branding guidelines defined
    • Upgrade and update marketing material such as brochures, presentations and other communication media and tools used on trade shows and communication with Customers
    • Organize and lead social Customer events and trade shows, ensure top quality support on all phases of the event, including statistics and evaluation of events efficiency in terms of leads generation
    • Ensure proper coverage and quality, as per CCO instructions, on social media as corporate website, LinkedIn and YouTube
    • Share and properly file Competition information as directed by the CCO
    • Keep updated the Sales Toolbox and other sales tools as directed by the CCO
    • Support sales process with the whole sales organization and enforce, when possible, those sales tools as projects or application screeners, O2C process, sales tools from sales toolbox
    • Develop and execute marketing communications plans to increase website traffic and engagement.
    • Oversees freelance writers and agencies and effectively guiding them to incorporate the strategic messaging into all marketing materials.
    • Develops a platform of global marketing communications tools and a way to localize for country- specific if appropriate.
    • Develop recommendations for association branding and messaging tactics.
    • Develop, justify and manage annual marketing budget; develop ROI analysis.
    • Work closely with Sales in developing effective communications and campaigns for territory and portfolio plans.
    • Develop a deep understanding of our target audiences and their behaviors ‘and disseminate findings to increase impact across organization.
    • Contribute to brand awareness and thought leadership objectives by identifying efficient and innovative ways to distribute branded content;

    REQUIRED:
    • Bachelor of Science degree in an associated engineering field or equivalent experience
    • A degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, or comparable required;
    • Understanding of gas turbine principles and applications, general knowledge on engineering and specific knowledge of marketing digital tools and techniques;
    • High level of energy, creativity, and willingness to work hard. Used to task accountability and team working.
    • Strong written and oral skills in English and Spanish.
    • Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Public Speaking.
    • 4+ years of experience in communications, content management, content management, or advertising in technical companies with strong value communication
    • Solid computer skills, including MS Excel, Digital Marketing Platforms (ie Google Adwords, MailChimp, and LinkedIn Marketing Solutions);
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines;
    • Ability to travel up to 30%
    • Excellent project planning and management skills, including problem-solving, collaboration, conflict resolution, and negotiation;
    • Skilled at clearly conveying concepts to creative and production teams, as well as agency partners and stakeholders;
    • Strategic mindset, innovative thinker, and constant learner;
    • Prolific consumer of all things marketing strategy with ability to analyze marketing trends;
    • 5+ years of experience running digital/CRM/ Social campaigns/SEO/PPC campaigns;
    • Strong writing and proofreading skills.
    • Microsoft Office (including Project and Visio) and advanced skills for general software application use including utilization of video conferencing, teleconferencing, webcast and other remote assistance technologies.
    • US Citizen or permanent resident status required.

    OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
