Reports To: Director of Quality & supplier Development

Scope Of Position

• Integral supporter of supplier partnership-building through proactive communication, risk management and supplier development initiatives.
• Provides project management and integrated scheduling for the planning and execution of supplier developments and transitions.
• Delivers effective supplier development and transition project analysis promoting on-time delivery of quality components and materials.

    • Manages multiple project schedules with shared responsibility with project managers for project results aligned with project deliverables and metrics.
    • Collaborates with functional managers to ensure project is appropriately staffed with requisite skills/capabilities as well as to ensure team member responsibility and accountability for assigned deliverables.
    • Coordinates system integration of all projects across functional leads (engineering, quality, mfg engineering, supply chain and finance) at both Vericor and supplier partners.
    • Collaborates with project managers on project schedules, milestone tracking through first article and initial production part qualification.
    • Performs project risk management analysis; budget and resource planning analysis; and, project charter and scope development tracking activities to ensure effective progress.
    • Creates a project structure including timelines, project plans, actions, resources, team responsibilities and status reporting.
    • Identifies, monitors and reports appropriate project metrics to track costs, schedule, and quality deliverables.
    • Facilitates effective communication and coordination of project status, risk mitigation and other business critical information reviews among project stakeholders to ensure project success.
    • Communicates newly discovered issues quickly and effectively to plan investigations, mitigations, and communicate potential impacts, while leading the effort to eliminate or minimize impact.
    • Ensures completion of appropriate Project documentation in compliance with Vericor procedures.
    • Technical discipline associates degree
    • Minimum 3 years project management experience
    • Integrated scheduling experience
    • Experience with project planning software, such as MS Project or similar
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10% of the time.

    • Technical Engineering degree
    • PMI certification
    • Aerospace/Aviation manufacturing site work experience
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
