Technical Publications Project Lead and Technical Writer

Location: Greer, SC USA
Reports To: Senior Manager of Services

Maintain all technical publications provided by Vericor to internal and external customers used in the assembly, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and operation of Vericor engines and accessories.
Review engineering documents and updates to determine what changes may be required of any Vericor publication through Temporary Manual Revisions (TMRs).
Implement periodic revisions to Manuals and Catalogs based on published TMRs.
Draft Service Bulletins and Service Letters for issuance to the customer based on input from Engineering, Operations, and Sales.
Draft all technical documents per Vericor prescribed format, style guide, and industry standards to provide information to internal and external customers in an optimal format.
Submit all documents for review to appropriate Vericor personnel and track timely completion of reviews to support publication.
Publish approved TMRs, Service Bulletins, Service Letters, Catalogs, and Manuals to internal and approved external customers in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify opportunities for manual improvements, both content and format.
Review all content to ensure that Vericor Intellectual Property is protected, issuing only information that is required for each publication.

Experience with assembly and disassembly techniques, inspections, bills of materials, technical drawings.
Experience with Gas Turbine Engines and Accessories. Vericor Engines a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Able to work independently as a self-starter
Able to communicate effectively to management and cross-functional areas
Excellent organizational, analytical, presentation and communication skills
