Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor

Scope Of Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. The successful candidate will also lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that they are meeting performance standards and adhering to safety regulations.

    • Responsible for supervising and setting priorities for warehouse operations and personnel in the receiving, shipping, transportation, warehouse transactions, and international import/export of component inventory.
    • Track, report status of, and ensure timely implementation of inventory transactions.
    • Responsible for inventory accuracy through management of the Logistics ERP system and processes.
    • Manage stock sweep process for effective containment in all areas including inventory and internal WIP as well as coordination with quality and purchasing externally at customers and WIP at suppliers.
    • Create, implement, and enforce inventory control procedures.
    • Responsible for physical inventory (accuracy, cycle count program, and reconciliation).
    • Coordinate in-coming and out-going freight.
    • Manage Material Movement Ticket log for transfer of inventory/assets outside of the facility.
    • Creating all standard of work for Logistics and Warehousing tasks.
    • Coordinate effectively across functional groups.
    • Manage import and export of EAR controlled items.
    • Responsible for export Proforma invoices.
    • Responsible for negotiation of rates and terms/conditions with carriers.
    • Manage material expiration.

    • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 to 10 years of applicable professional experience in inventory/logistics management.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience with ERP system management (Business Central preferred).
    • High level of competency in MS Office applications.
    • US Citizen or permanent resident status required

    • Demonstrated self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to coordinate effectively with manufacturing, engineering, finance and program management functions.
    • Supervision of a team to achieve challenging results.
    • Experience with bills of material, source control, engineered components, and manufacturing of industrial products and services.
    • Familiarity with INCO terms and terms and conditions in supplier relationships.
    • Experience in gas turbine engine manufacturing or maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO).
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar Quality System requirements.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
