Scope Of Position
• Receipt of company and customer property in accordance with established procedures.
• Shipment of company and customer property in accordance with established procedures.
• Document and coordinate inventory transactions in order to maintain accurate inventory across VPS inventory locations.
• Coordinate and communicate with various responsible parties for all material coming in and going out of plant. Ensure clear communication for all next step requirements for materials.
• Establish condition and status of parts as required.
• Shipment of company and customer property in accordance with established procedures.

• Establish condition and status of parts as required.
- Use of warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, banding equipment, etc.) as needed.
- Organize inventory as needed to optimize useable space within facility.
- Responsible for the fulfillment of pick tickets.
- Maintain traceability, documentation of parts used on work orders.
- Understand workflow and system flow of material traceability.
- Conduct physical inventory/cycle count (count and reconciliation)
- Arrange shipment of hardware and tools to and from remote locations ensuring proper packaging of these items.
- Proficient with computers having a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, and ERP/WMS.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Actively cross trains in other complementary skills as needed to support production requirements.
- Participates in cross training of other technicians as needed to support production requirements.
- Improve shipping/receiving, stores processes to reduce costs and improve delivery.
- Demonstrate commitment to productivity and continuous improvement.
- Achieve financial objectives including revenue targets, operational expenses, and inventory requirements
- International Freight & Shipping Experience Required (not limited to FedEx & UPS)
- US and International Customs experience
- Deliver on commitments, both internal and external.

- Detail oriented, diligent, well organized, proven track record of delivering on time.
- Excellent communicator with customers, vendors, management, and co-workers.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds (unassisted).
- Observing health, safety, and environment standards and procedures at all times.
- US Citizen or permanent resident status.
- Forklift certification.
- Microsoft Great Plains or Dynamics 365 experience.
- Trained in areas of Safety & Hazardous Materials.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality System requirements.
- Previous experience handling gas turbine engine parts.
