Scope
The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of product and system quality across the organization, ensuring excellence from supplier inputs through final delivery to customers. This role owns the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality assurance strategies, policies, and systems to support operational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for the overall quality of Vericor products and systems from suppliers through to customers.
- · Responsible for the planning, developing, and implementing quality assurance policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives.
- · Develop and monitor appropriate metrics to track quality and process improvement. Monitors and evaluates the performance of the production process internally and at suppliers. Take aggressive actions when quality standards are not being met.
- · Responsible for the continual improvement of policies and procedures to ensure ISO 9001 certification is maintained.
- · Sets quality objectives and develops the action plans to achieve results.
- · Fosters a culture of quality within the organization.
- · Oversees all aspects of Vericor’s quality control functions.
- · Ensure the proper interface of the quality function to product development, manufacturing, engineering, operations, fields service, and sales.
- · Establish strong relationships with internal and external customers-to build, enhance and ensure quality performance.
- · This position will take full ownership for the projected management of significant quality issues.
- Ability to lead root cause and corrective action.
- Provide project management leadership for cross functional action plans.
- Bachelors degree engineering, operations, or business field.
- · 10-15 years of directly applicable experience.
- · Analytical and conceptual thinker.
- · Demonstrated self-starter capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- · Strong customer satisfaction mindset with ability to enhance internal/external customer relationships.
- · Detail oriented, diligent, well organized, proven track record of delivering on time.
- · Proven problem-solving ability.
- · Strong written and oral communication skills.

- Assist Account Managers to develop new sales contracts associated with assigned customers, together with Sales team.
- · Experience with Gas Turbine Engine manufacturing or Maintenance, Repair, or Overhaul.
- · Prior experience as the Quality Manager of a manufacturing site.
- · Familiarity with AS9100 requirements.
- · Six Sigma quality assurance certification.
- · Familiar with aerospace manufacturing techniques, processes, standards and requirements.
- · Ability to interface effectively across all functions.
