Overview and Key Responsibilities
This role will work to:
• Complete engine performance analysis including predictions and diagnostics
• Work hands on in the test cell diagnosing engine behavior and analyzing trends
• Responsible for turbine performance related topics t support engine development projects and customer projects
• Introduce / upgrade existing tools for performance calculations
• Mentor Performance Engineers

- BS or MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 8+ years of experience with Gas Turbine Performance
- Experience with gas turbine performance analysis including modeling, stationary and transient analysis, engine diagnostics and test cell operations is desired
- Firm understanding of Gas Turbine Principles and Thermodynamics
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, NPSS, Gas Turb and/or other Gas Turbine Performance tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as multi-tasking abilities, strong analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, organization skills, and time-management skills.
- High-energy and passionate team player who is excited about learning and embraces a culture of trust, free-thought and collaboration
- In accordance with US Export Control requirements, US Citizenship or permanent resident status is required
- <10% Travel focused on field support and travel between the office in Alpharetta Georgia or the manufacturing and test facility in Greer, South Carolina
