Agreement provides base for Vericor shop repairs
Vericor and Standard Aero Energy (SAE) signed a 5 year agreement to provide MRO services for Vericor TF and ASE gas turbines at SAE’s Winnipeg, Canada facility. “This agreement extends our existing relationship to assemble and test our ASE and TF series engines” stated Richard Clinton, Director, Operations and Aftermarket Support. “It made a lot of sense for both parties” continued Clinton, “as the engine expertise and tooling are in place, and Standard Aero has well-established, world-class service capabilities.”
The agreement provides for engine and component repair and overhaul as well as field service. In addition, specific quality and turn-around-time targets are outlined to improve customer responsiveness. Finally, the agreement allows for the continued development of repair technologies to decrease the overall cost of engine maintenance to customers. “This agreement is really a win-win-win for all parties” states Clinton.
