Local service provider to help ensure availability for yacht owners.
VERICOR POWER SYSTEMS signed an agreement with MTU-France SAS, Beauchamp, France, to provide Level I field service (inspection, repair, maintenance) on TF series marine gas turbines for operators in southern France and northern Italy. “This agreement will afford local service to some of the most exclusive and luxurious mega-yachts in the world” says Richard Clinton, Vericor’s Director of Operations and Aftermarket Support. “By having a local service provider to perform service as well as a local inventory of the most commonly used spare parts, we will be able to provide a higher level of aftermarket support to our European yacht customers” continued Clinton.
MTU-France will provide service from it’s Mandelieu facility. Vericor will provide technical assistance and training to ensure customers are able to keep their vessels in peak operating condition and available 100% of the time.
